An exciting encounter towards the lower end of the Premier League table awaits this Saturday when Norwich host Aston Villa.
The Canaries have shown two faces this season. When they play at Carrow Road they are capable of producing exhilarating performances going hand-in-hand with a load of goals.
In their last home game Norwich caused the biggest upset in the season thus far when they beat the reigning champions Man City 3:2. Not only did they do that, but they managed to pull it off without lots of defensive players due to injury.
Prior to that famous victory, the team from Norfolk scored two goals against Chelsea in a close 2:3 loss and beat Newcastle Utd 3:1 at home.
When they play outside of Carrow Road however, the Canaries are toothless, recording a defeat in every game and scoring just one goal in four away matches.
This weekend Teemu Pukki, Todd Cantwell and Emiliano Buendia are back at Carrow Road and have the perfect opposition to get back on the winning ways. The home crowd will back them ferociously in order to experience similar emotions like that Man City game three weeks ago.
The Villans have lost each Premier League away game they’ve played this season. Granted, two of those were at the hands of Arsenal and Tottenham, but the third one was by a Crystal Palace team which is one of the least threatening in attack in the whole league.
Norwich won both contests among the two teams last season when they were a part of the Championship. Doing so again is much more likely to happen than not.
